Lisa – Training & recruitment
I previously worked in a high street travel agents, and joined Sunmaster as a Sales Agent, I really enjoyed this fast paced, exciting role and loved how every day was so different. The money you can earn as a sales agent is fantastic. In May 2013 I moved over to training, I do the induction of new starters, teach them their destination knowledge, how to use our systems, the procedures and the general day to day life of a sales agent.
From October 2013 I am also covering maternity leave for our internal recruiter, this role involves screening candidates, carring out telephone interviews, face to face interviews, administration tasks and much more. Sunmaster is a fun and exciting place to be, this makes coming to work really enjoyable.

Carole – Sales Agent – Accrington
My name is Carole. I am a travel sales consultant for Sunmaster. I previously worked as a cruise consultant for Thomas Cook and before that sales consultant for Tradewinds specialising in exotic destinations & America. I have been at Sunmaster for almost 3 months and at first I felt like a fish out of water, but now I feel I can swim again. So what is a typical day working for Sunmaster? The answer is there isn’t one, no 2 days are the same. No humdrum 9-5 here, I will give you a concise view of my day yesterday.
My shift started at 2-10, shifts vary from day to day, week to week. I arrived at the office early, I like to be prepared for the day ahead. I caught up with colleagues on the early shift to see if there was anything in particular I needed to know. Checked the Sunmaster intranet to look for updates I needed to know. See who was working and then checked my baskets and see if I had any call backs to answer. I then logged in ready for the day ahead. Straight away the dulcet tone, “can someone grab that call.” I Took it and it was a last minute getaway travelling today. The clients are in the sky now on their way to sunnier climates.
It is my job & I love it!
Kim – Customer Service Agent – Halifax
I’ve worked at Sunmaster nearly 10 years, the thing I like most about working here is the people I work with. There is always someone to help me if I need it. My job consists of answering phone calls and emails from customers who have already booked. Their queries can range from wanting to amend / cancel, add on luggage, issues in resort. I also input the bookings that the sales team have made on to our internal system. Overall it is a really good friendly atmosphere in customer services.
